It is not a good colorimeter correction match to macbook LED backlight but it is all Xrite provides. If you have trouble measuring with Displa圜AL or ARgyllCMS command line, use Xrite's i1Profiler or CCprofiler in PFS phosphor setting. If you have a Xrite colorimeter of i1d3 family, use Displa圜AL/ArgyllCMS WLED PFS phosphor correction for measuring actual whitepoint of macbook.įor your dell use Panasonic VVX WLED PFS phosphor 94% P3 colorimeter correction. Typical whitepoint for consumer displays is D65, seacrh wikipedia. Make sure that profile associated with dell display on mac os have such native gamut coordinates. U2723QE should use a WLED PFS/KFS phosphor backlight, thus its native green and red should be close to P3. By default just by plugging it to your mac, macOS should have created an ICC profile from EDID data: color coordinates of the primaries, "nominal" gamma (macOS fakes it) and nominal Whitepoint (white color).
